Spring Bucket List Ideas To Fully Enjoy The Season

I don’t care what anyone else thinks, or what that groundhog said that day; the start of march is the start of spring for me. I feel it in my bones and in my energy levels. The longer days and the fields of flowers are slowly bringing me back to life after a dark and heavy winter. I think a few could agree that this time of year can really make us feel like a new person; energized and ready to take on the world. It’s a perfect time to check off some bucket list items, try something new, and really indulge in the things you love. After all, life is too short to not enjoy our time. So let’s get into some spring bucket list ideas that will have you romanticizing your life in no time.

Have a picnic in a blooming field or park

Pack up a cozy blanket, a basket full of your favorite spring snacks (think fresh berries, croissants, and a cute charcuterie board), and head to the prettiest park or wildflower field you can find. There’s nothing like lounging under the sun, sipping on iced tea, and feeling like you just stepped into a cottagecore daydream. Bonus points if you bring a book, a film camera, or your bestie for the ultimate spring vibe!

Visit a botanical garden or a tulip festival

Step into a literal fairytale by visiting a botanical garden or a dreamy tulip field this spring. Stroll through rows of vibrant blooms, snap some Instagram-worthy pics, and soak in all the fresh floral scents. Whether you’re marveling at the endless shades of tulips or wandering through lush greenhouses, it’s the perfect way to honor the season.

Have a bonfire night

Cool spring evenings call for a cozy bonfire night under the stars. Grab some blankets, roast marshmallows for the perfect golden s’more, and enjoy the crackling fire with your favorite people. You can swap stories, play acoustic tunes, or just vibe with the warmth.  it’s the ultimate way to soak up those chill spring nights.

Visit the farmers market or local farm stands

Nothing says spring like a slow morning at the farmers’ market, iced coffee in hand, strolling through stands of fresh flowers, seasonal produce, and homemade goodies. Stock up on juicy strawberries, local honey, and freshly baked bread while soaking in the cheerful, small-town vibes.

Curate a spring cleaning playlist

Blast it on full volume, light a fresh floral candle, and turn your space into a clean, happy, high-energy sanctuary! I’ll be adding Sports Car by Tate McRae, Pink Pony Club by Chappell Roan, and Saturn by SZA. Should I share curated playlists on the blog? Let me know in the comments. I think that’s something I would really enjoy doing

Spring clean your home

Spring is the perfect time to reset your space and bring in those clean, airy vibes. Start by decluttering (yes, that junk drawer has got to go), swap out heavy winter decor for lighter, brighter touches, and deep clean those spots you’ve been avoiding all winter. Open the windows, let the fresh air in, and maybe even treat yourself to a cute new candle or bouquet of flowers as a reward for all your hard work!

Practice mindful morning walks outside

enjoy spring  with a mindful walk outside—no rush, no agenda, just you and the fresh spring air.  Listen to the birds chirping, feel the warmth of the sun on your skin, and take deep breaths of that crisp, clean air. It can do wonders for your mental health and well being.

Find a new hobby

Spring is all about fresh starts, so why not try something totally new?  Whether it’s picking up a paintbrush, trying your hand at pottery, learning how to make the perfect homemade pasta, or even starting a little herb garden, finding a new hobby is the perfect way to shake things up this season. Choose something that sparks joy, challenges you in the best way, and lets you tap into your creative side.

Travel somewhere new (even if it’s local)

You don’t have to go far to have an adventure—sometimes the best getaways are right in your own backyard!  Whether it’s a charming small town, a hidden nature trail, or a cozy café you’ve never tried, make it a goal to explore somewhere new this spring. A little change of scenery can do wonders for your mood and creativity. So grab your sunnies, roll the windows down, and let the road (or your Google Maps) lead you to your next mini escape!

Cook with spring veggies

i’m in my home cooked meals era so this just makes sense. Fresh asparagus, crisp snap peas, juicy strawberries, and vibrant greens—this season is all about light, flavorful dishes.  Try whipping up a fresh spring salad, roasting seasonal veggies with a drizzle of olive oil, or making a farmers’ market-inspired pasta. Cooking with fresh, in-season ingredients not only tastes better, but it also makes every meal feel like a little celebration of spring!

Spring is all about fresh starts. So take the time to embrace fun and change this season. Try new things, step outside of your comfort zone, and take in what this season has to offer. Whether you’re going on a picnic, little walks, or making your way through fields of flowers, I hope you can see the beauty around you and that you can enjoy this wonderful season! What is on your spring bucket list? I’d love to hear from you in the comment section below. Until next time, besties. K byeeeee!
