Bedroom Ideas To Satisfy Your Craving For A Change This Spring

Source

Although winter is in full swing, it hasn’t really felt like it here in the valley of the pacific north west. It just started snowing and by snowing I mean a ½ inch at best and it’s all melted within a few hours of falling. I mean my little sister in Houston, Texas has gotten more snow than me and that just doesn’t add up for me.

Soooo now that winter is maybe winding down and the snow has potentially passed, which by the way I really was hoping for more, I am just itching to move things around and feel like I need a good old fashioned change  to freshen up my life. You know, skip the bangs, and opt for a bedroom remodel instead are the vibes we’re going here for. (But bangs might not be completelyyy out of question.)

So whether you’re more into boho decor, farmhouse style or even (hello trending) maximalism; we’re going to have plenty of inspiration to gather for your spring bedroom makeover with these bedroom ideas that will satisfy your cravings for a change after being cooped up in pajamas all winter long.

1. Minimalist – That Clean Girl Aesthetic

Okay, bestie, if you’re obsessed with the whole clean-girl vibe, minimalism is your BFF. Think crisp white bedding, sleek furniture, and not a single piece of unnecessary clutter. It’s giving “I have my life together” even if we both know I hit snooze five times this morning. Stick to neutral colors, hidden storage, and a less is more mindset. Marie Kondo would be proud.

Fight me on this one being a minimalist bedroom. It’s got minimal clutter and decor. What I love so much about it is the added pops of color with the bulb light and throw blanket. So if colors make you happy but you want to keep things minimalistic in your bedroom, try opting for a design like this.

Here is minimalism at its best. Very clean, minimal books on the floating shelves, and a crisply made bed. There is great power in keeping such a clean and clear space so if you operate best in a minimal environment like this, try incorporating this design in your bedroom for your next bedroom makeover.

It’s giving more of a cozy minimalist vibe. Adding a little bit of texture with decor on the floating shelves and bigger plants in the room without an overwhelming amount of clutter.

2. Boho

You know those dreamy bedrooms with rattan headboards, plants everywhere, and macramé hanging from the walls? Yeah, that’s boho, and it’s a whole vibe. This style is perfect if you love cozy layers, earthy tones, and a space that feels effortlessly cool. Bonus points if you add a vintage rug and at least five plants (don’t worry, faux ones count too).

Ohhh how boho has a special place in my heart. I get reminded of why when I see boho interior design like these. The plants, greenery, and cozy vibe just really sells me into this dreamy haven. If you’re the same, this is a great interior design style to explore when transforming your bedroom next.

Dying for the color scheme in this boho bedroom. The pinks, greens, mustard yellows, and the natural color of the rattan. Actually stunning.

I love this grungy boho aesthetic. Open clothes racks, and plants for days. Count me innnnnn,

3. Modern Glam

If you’re the type who loves a little sparkle (or a lot), modern glam is where it’s at. We’re talking gold accents, velvet everything, and a statement chandelier that screams expensive (even if it’s from Amazon). Picture a fluffy white rug, a glass vanity with cute organizers, and just the right amount of drama. Think old Hollywood meets soft girl era.

Wow, truly a dream for you glam queens out there. Plenty of sparkle, plenty of glam. This monotone design is giving hollywood star for days.

We can’t talk about glam designs without talking about leopard print. The leopard, mixed with the pink and the stunning chandelier. How much more glam can it get?!

Gold accents, check. Extravagent chandalier, check. Velet and tones of pink, check. Who can deny what this glamourous bedroom is giving?

4. Scandinavian

Scandinavian decor is like that effortlessly cool girl who only wears neutral tones and somehow looks flawless 24/7. It’s all about simplicity, light wood, cozy textures, and a calm color palette. White, beige, and soft pastels? Yes, please. Add in some floating shelves, a big fluffy duvet, and soft lighting for the ultimate “I drink matcha and journal every morning” energy.

This Scandinavian-inspired bedroom is stunning, cozy, and minimal. It’s everything it needs to be for ultimate comfort and the perfect spring reset.

A common theme with Scandinavian decor style is the wood paneling on the walls. I love that it adds a touch of natural texture to the bedroom. This bedroom screams relaxation.

Another neutral tone beauty. Add in the wicker lamp and it’s a wrap. I’m obsessed with these shades of brown.

5. Rustic Farmhouse

If you’ve ever dreamed of living in a cozy little cottage but still want a touch of modern style, farmhouse decor is for you. Think distressed wood, vintage finds, and neutral tones with lots of texture. A chunky knit throw, a sliding barn door, and maybe a candle that smells like vanilla and fresh-baked cookies? Instant cozy vibes. Bonus: It makes your bedroom feel like a warm hug.

You know, there’s a part of me that sees myself in an industrial loft in NYC with exposed brick and just grungy and artsy af. And then there is the part of me that thinks I should be living my best farm life with chickens and cows and most importantly, farmhouse decor. I continue to be pulled from side to side with these two sides of me.

Like look at those country side views and the exposed wood beams. This is a picture straight out of my farmhouse girl dreams.

Exposed wooden beams and airy curtains. Not to mention a bed that looks like I’d have the best sleep of my life on it. Farmhouse decor is lowkey fire.

6. Industrial

Industrial decor is for the edgy girlies who love dark walls, moody lighting, and the perfect blend of modern and raw materials. Think exposed brick (or a peel-and-stick version because we’re not all living in a NYC loft), leather furniture, and metal accents. Edison bulbs? A must. It’s giving downtown apartment meets cool speakeasy.

Something about industrial decor has always looked good to me. It’s giving unfinished, a work in progress, just like me! lol

Exposed brick will always have my heart. period.

I’m obsessed with the addition of the neon light flower and art piece. It really adds an edgy cool girl vibe to the bedroom.

7. Coastal – But Not Too Beachy

If you love the ocean but don’t want your room to scream “I bought everything from a beach souvenir shop,” coastal decor is your vibe. Picture soft blues, crisp whites, linen bedding, and woven textures. It’s fresh, airy, and makes your bedroom feel like a little slice of vacation. A rattan light fixture and a cozy throw in seafoam or sand tones? Chef’s kiss.

Coastal bedrooms remind me of beach vacations and like why wouldn’t I want to be on a beach vacation every day with this stunning airy and light coastal bedroom decor? Exactly.

Everything about this room. I’m screaming. The ceiling, overhead fan, gallery wall, and colorrrrrrs. I could easily see myself getting comfortable and feeling so relaxed in this bedroom design.

Again with the colors. This shade of blue with the tan rattan is just so appealing to my eye. Lovely and simple coastal decor.

8. Romantic And Feminine

If you want your room to look like a Pinterest dream board of soft pinks, floral prints, and vintage details, this is the one.A tufted headboard, a dainty vanity, and fairy lights wrapped around your mirror? Yes, yes, and yes. Add in a few antique-inspired decor pieces, and suddenly, you’re the main character in a period romance (but like, with good WiFi).

The way this room is so light and feminine but so simple at the same time. It only takes a couple hints of pink. The flowers and bed set really bring out this feminine beauty of a bedroom.

Something on the more girly feminine side. Brighter pinks, twinkly lights, and teddy bears. This bedroom has an abiance that makes me want to curl up with my cat and play Animal Crossing.

Obsessed with the whimsical look these fairy lights give this space.

9. Eclectic Maximalism

If minimalism makes you yawn and you want your space to look like a mix of all your favorite things, eclectic decor is IT. Picture bold colors, funky art, and a mix of vintage and modern pieces that somehow just work. This is the style for you if you love thrifting, collecting cute knick-knacks, and making your room feel like a curated masterpiece. The vibe? More is more. Read more about how to achieve this trending style here.

Eclectic Maximalism is so fun. Incorporating all the funky patterns, textures, and colors. You can truly make your room and representation of you with this decor style.

Checkered is a very trendy pattern these days, and I’m here for it. I love me a good old-fashioned checkered design.

This color palette has me floored. The art, the ambiance from the lighting fixtures, and the colors. Gorgeous, cozy, dreamy, aesthetic.

10. Mid Century Modern

If you love sleek furniture with a touch of vintage charm, mid-century modern is calling your name. It’s all about tapered wooden legs, rich colors (think mustard yellow or deep teal), and clean lines. It’s sophisticated, timeless, and effortlessly stylish. Add in a funky statement chair and a geometric rug, and suddenly, your room looks straight out of an interior design magazine.

A little retro, a little minimalism, a lot of rustic colors. I love oranges and mustard yellows, so naturally this decor style makes my eyeballs happy.

Nothing like a pink and green moment. This bedroom boasts impeccable styling and makes great use of the color combo. These shades are giving major mid century.

A very simplistic mid-century modern moment. Making the most of rustic orange and mustard yellow.

And that’s a wrap for this week. Let me tell you, I’m so fascinated by interior design. All the decor styles are so cute and cozy which makes it so hard to pick which way to lean! For me personally, i’ve always secretly loved industrial design. I’m just a sucker for exposed brick, what can I say?! Although my dreams of living in a NYC loft with plenty of exposed brick has not yet come to fruition, I’m thinking i’ll have to play around with some wallpaper brick…I’ll let y’all know if that happens. Until then, let me know in the comment section below, what decor style do you lean towards?
